Purposely built for travel around Alaska
Built in Alaska - for Alaska.
Our competition wants you to believe a lesser-built van is sufficient for traveling around Alaska but we whole-heartedly disagree. Our heavily-insulated floors, walls & ceilings keep Alaska’s cold from getting in. Primary & auxiliary heat sources provide dry heat for drying out wet gear or provide comfort when sleeping in temperatures below freezing. Our bed configuration is lengthwise (not sideways) to avoid having to crawl in/out over your significant other. Multiple screened windows allow great air circulation without the bugs. Large windows in the slider door & behind the driver seat provide critical visibility while driving or parking. These large windows will also add a couple of extra bucks to your million dollar views. Unmatched in design and craftsmanship, you’ll find our vans to be clean, efficient, warm & inviting.

“Our 10 day trip to Alaska was probably our best vacation ever - and this is in large part thanks to AlaskaVans. I was skeptical of staying in a van for 10 days but even my highest expectations were blown away because of the care and detail put into the interior layout and the added features to make it more comfortable. Everything we needed was included, the layout made the most of every inch and I’m 6ft3 so that additional thought put into the layout really mattered. They were flexible with our pick up time when we got to Anchorage. I had room for 3 fully assembled fly rods for the fishing we did all around the Kenai Peninsula. My girlfriend and I both felt very comfortable driving and the generous mileage limits made exploring easy. We saw Homer up to Seward and then towards the interior stopping in Talkeetna and exploring Denali. I would 100% do this trip again and would rent from AlaskaVans too. Thank you and its no wonder your business is growing - Matt (the owner) really cares about making it an unforgettable trip!”
““Taking the Beluga out for 5 days through the Matanuska Valley and into Valdez was the highlight of our time in Alaska this summer. We really love van travel to begin with, but AlaskaVans has constructed these in a way that raises the bar. There were so many little things that we kept noticing along the way that made it obvious these vans were built by someone who loves using their own product. It had been improved and organized in a bunch of different ways that could only have been thought of while traveling themselves. I think that’s what made the experience so special - all of the little things that made every aspect of living comfortable, while being able to enjoy the wildness of Alaska at the same time.” ”
